Die exogen-allergische Alveolitis stellt eine wichtige Differenzialdiagnose im Kanon der interstitiellen Lungenerkrankungen dar — inbesondere zur idiopathischen Lungenfibrose. Eine gründliche Anamnese ist weiterhin das A und O auf dem Weg zur richtigen Diagnose und damit Therapie. Eine Identifizierung des auslösenden Antigens bleibt nicht selten eine Herausforderung.
