Stereotaktische Bestrahlung statt OP?

Bei Patienten mit nicht-kleinzelligem Lungenkarzinom (NSCLC) im Stadium I steht die Resektion des Tumors an erster Stelle. Besonders für Patienten, die nicht für eine Lobektomie infrage kommen oder eine Operation ablehnen, scheint die stereotaktische Bestrahlung eine wirksame Alternative darzustellen. Allerdings gibt es bislang keine prospektiven, randomisierten Studien zum Vergleich der Wirksamkeit von Operation und Stereotaxie.
