Wegen eines steroidrefraktären Morbus Crohn wird eine 30-jährige Patientin mit Azathioprin behandelt. Als septische Fieberschübe auftreten, wird zunächst an eine Komplikation des Morbus Crohn gedacht. Doch bei der Echokardiografie findet sich ein überraschender Befund an der Aortenklappe.
