Zusammenfassung
Neue diagnostische Verfahren wie die Druckdrahtmessung (FFR) und optische Kohärenztomografie (OCT) wurden bisher trotz ausreichender Datenlage nur wenig eingesetzt. Seit dem Jahreswechsel besteht nun die Möglichkeit einer Vergütung. Somit erscheint zukünftig eine Entscheidung hinsichtlich der Therapie einer koronaren Herzerkrankung bei vorliegender Stenose nicht nur aufgrund einer visuellen Abschätzung möglich, sondern auch auf der Grundlage einer objektiven Messung der hämodynamischen Relevanz. Eine kürzlich vorgestellte Studie konnte belegen, dass eine aufgrund der erhobenen FFR neu festgelegten Therapie gegenüber einer ursprünglich auf rein angiografischen Gesichtspunkten basierenden Therapieentscheidung sicher und für den Patienten prognostisch günstig ist.
