Bedeutung der optischen Kohärenztomografie in der Diagnostik der Neoatherosklerose

Zusammenfassung

Neoatherosklerotische Veränderungen werden bereits innerhalb des ersten Jahrs nach DES-Implantation beobachtet und in Verbindung mit unerwünschten Ereignissen wie In-Stent-Restenosen sowie späten Stentthrombosen gebracht. Neoatherosklerose in DES stellt eine eigene ätiologische Entität von unbekannter klinischer Relevanz dar, bei deren Charakterisierung und Diagnostik intravaskuläre bildgebende Verfahren wie die optische Kohärenztomografie weitere Fortschritte versprechen.
