Nahezu alle Tumorpatienten entwickeln im Verlauf ihrer Erkrankung eine tumorassoziierte Fatigue. Zum Teil besteht diese schon zum Diagnosezeitpunkt und oft begleitet sie den Patienten auch lange über eine erfolgreiche Therapie hinaus. Erkennen, behandeln und unterstützen sind die wesentlichen Eckpunkte für eine gute Betreuung von Fatigue Betroffenen.
