Lebensbedrohliches Hautemphysem nach banalem Stoß gegen den Hals

Ein Sturz mit dem Laufrad, ein Stoß gegen den Hals: Nach diesem banalen Unfall entwickelt ein 5-jähriges Kind ein massives und rasant zunehmendes Hautemphysem mit Atemnot. Die Sicherung der Atemwege mittels orotrachealer Intubation hat zunächst Vorrang. Die Einführung des Tubus ohne Kenntnisse der Atemwegsverletzungen birgt jedoch erhebliche Risiken. Daher ist eine sofortige fieberoptische Lagekontrolle obligat.
