Viele Kinder mit schweren chronischen Erkrankungen weisen ein hohes Risiko für psychische Begleitstörungen auf. Zu nennen sind hier in erster Linie die Aufmerksamkeits-Hyperaktivitätsstörung (ADHS), aber auch die Autismus-Spektrum-Störung, Angsterkrankungen und Depressionen.
