Ein 2 Monate alter, ehemals reif geborener Säugling leidet an Diarrhö und Erbrechen. Nach umfassender Diagnostik stellt sich heraus, dass es unter einer CMV-Kolitis leidet. Mit einer oralen Valganciclovirtherapie kann das Kind erfolgreich therapiert werden.
