Bei Kindern und Jugendlichen fällt bei Routinekontrollen mittels Teststreifen oftmals eine Eiweißausscheidung im Urin auf. Die Herausforderung an den betreuenden Pädiater ist es, die benignen Proteinurien von denen zu unterscheiden, die weiterer Diagnostik und Therapie bedürfen.
