Die lokale Behandlung des atopischen Ekzems umfasst üblicherweise neben einer Basiscreme die Anwendung von Kortikoiden, Calcineurininhibitoren oder in schweren Fällen auch oralen Immunsuppressiva. Ein neuer Wirkstoff wurde jetzt in einer Phase-II-Studie erprobt, und zwar der Januskinase-Inhibitor Tofacitinib.
