Bestimmte Dermatosen können von vorangehenden oder parallel bestehenden Infektionen ausgelöst oder verschlechtert werden. Die Psoriasis vulgaris etwa kann Folge einer Streptococcus-pyogenes-Infektion sein, der Lichen ruber durch Hepatitis-C-Viren ausgelöst werden.
