Bei Patienten mit einem Melanom der Kopfhaut ist die Prognose schlechter als bei Patienten mit Melanomen an anderen Körperstellen. Bei mehr als jedem Zweiten kommt es bereits ein Jahr nach der Therapie zum Rezidiv.
