Auch Stiche von Zecken, die wie der Gemeine Holzbock in Europa heimisch sind, können eine Fleischallergie auslösen. Die relevanten Allergene sind teils hitzestabil. Es nützt daher wenig, das Fleisch vor dem Verzehr gut durchzubraten oder zu kochen.
