Eine groß angelegte Studie zeigt eindeutig, dass strukturierte Alkohol-Entwöhnungsprogramme den klinischen Verlauf der alkoholischen Hepatitis verbessern. Alle Patienten sollten daher auf ihren Abstinenzwunsch hin gescreent werden.
