Der 21-jährige Patient stellt sich mit seit zwei Wochen bestehender zervikaler Lymphknoten- Schwellung und rezidivierend fieberhaften Temperaturen bis 38,8 °C vor. Bei V. a. eine virale Infektion waren im Vorfeld supportive Maßnahmen und eine EBV-Diagnostik eingeleitet worden.
