Unklare und inadäquate Schmerzen nach einer Operation oder einem Trauma sollten immer auch an einen Morbus Sudeck denken lassen. Wichtig ist es, die aktuellen Diagnosekriterien dieser Erkrankung zu kennen, damit der Patient rasch behandelt werden kann. Die funktionelle Wiederherstellung steht im Vordergrund der Therapie.
