Aufgrund akut einsetzender Atemnot stellt sich ein 67-jähriger Patient vor. Er ist in der Praxis mit einem Lungenemphysem und einer COPD bekannt. Seine Medikation nimmt er regelmäßig ein. Er berichtet, dass er in den letzten Tagen mehr Hustenanfälle gehabt habe als sonst.
