Bei älteren Männern mit erniedrigtem Serumtestosteron kann ein Anheben des Testosteronspiegels Vorteile bringen. Da mögliche Risiken aufgrund der aktuellen Studien aber nach wie vor nicht genau abzuschätzen sind, muss die Indikationsstellung weiter individuell erfolgen.
