Zehn Monate postpartum stellt sich eine 32-Jährige mit Herzrasen, Schweißausbrüchen, Gewichtsverlust und Schwindel vor. Klinisch fallen eine erhöhte Körpertemperatur sowie eine vergrößert palpable Schilddrüse auf. In der Blutabnahme zeigen sich supprimierte TSH- sowie stark erhöhte FT3- und FT4-Konzentrationen, im EKG eine Sinustachykardie.
