Zusammenfassung
Wegen seiner frühzeitigen Metastasierung ist beim malignen Melanom eine rasche Diagnosestellung von zentraler Bedeutung. Ist der „schwarze Hautkrebs“ erst erkannt, sind weitere diagnostische und therapeutische Schritte notwendig, die sich an genau definierten Algorithmen orientieren. Auf den Gebieten der adjuvanten und metastasierten Situation haben in den letzten Jahren neue Erkenntnisse zu grundlegenden Änderungen des Therapieregimes geführt. Mit diesem Artikel soll eine Übersicht über das aktuelle leitlinienorientierte Vorgehen beim malignen Melanom gegeben werden.
