Regelmäßig testet die Stiftung Warentest Blutdruckmessgeräte. Die Resonanz der Laienpresse auf die letzte Veröffentlichung (Heft 11/2018) fiel vernichtend aus, z. B. „Nur ein Gerät überzeugt“, „Viele Geräte liefern ungenaue Werte“. Dadurch sind nun viele Patienten verunsichert.
