Je mehr bildgebende Verfahren eingesetzt werden, desto häufiger trifft man auf „Inzidentalome“, zufällig entdeckte Leber-Raumforderungen. Die meisten dieser Zufallsbefunde sind gutartig. Manche sind auch eher ein Thema für den Infektiologen.
