Ein 62-jähriger Patient klagt über zunehmende Dyspnoe, die schon in Ruhe auftrete. Er raucht seit über 40 Jahren ca. 20 Zigaretten pro Tag. Klinisch imponiert eine Akro- und Lippenzyanose. Das Blutbild zeigt eine Polyglobulie mit einem Hb-Wert von 18 g/dl.
