Abgeschlagenheit, Fieber oder Hypothermie, Husten, Auswurf, Dyspnoe, Thoraxschmerz und Verwirrtheit: Hinter diesen Symptomen kann eine ambulant erworbene Pneumonie stecken. Der Hausarzt muss die Diagnose zügig sichern und dann rasch entscheiden, ob er den Patienten stationär einweist. In einem von vier Fällen ist das erforderlich.
