Die Koexistenz des menschlichen Organismus mit seinem Mikrobiom ist im Normalfall eine Symbiose. Kommt es jedoch durch Umwelteinflüsse oder eine Antibiotikatherapie zur Verschiebung des Mikrobioms, können verschiedenste Erkrankungen die Folge sein.
