Ein Vater versucht zusammen mit seinem achtjährigen Sohn, die nur glimmende Holzkohle durch Aufspritzen von Spiritus zu entzünden. Dabei kommt es zu einer Verpuffung, wodurch das Kind an Kopf und Oberkörper verletzt wird. Der Vater erleidet nur leichte Verbrennungen an beiden Händen und Unterarmen.
