Zusammenfassung

Der Herz-Kreislauf-Stillstand stellt die größte und unmittelbarste Bedrohung für das menschliche Leben dar: Wenn nicht sofort mit professionellen Hilfsmaßnahmen begonnen wird, tritt innerhalb weniger Minuten der Tod ein. Dieser Beitrag fokussiert auf die Aspekte, die maßgeblich für das Überleben und mitentscheidend für ein gutes neurologisches Behandlungsergebnis von Patienten mit Herz-Kreislauf-Stillstand sind.
