Bei vielen Neoplasien besteht heutzutage eine hohe Heilungschance. Somit rückt das Thema „Kinderwunsch“ insbesonders bei jungen Frauen mit Krebs zunehmend in den Vordergrund. Jede prämenopausale Frau sollte somit vor Beginn einer Chemotherapie oder Bestrahlung des kleinen Beckens über Möglichkeiten des Fertilitätserhaltes informiert werden.
