Leider bleiben die postoperativen Verläufe auch bei kleinen Eingriffen nicht immer ohne Komplikationen. Diese sind, sieht man von anaphylaktischen Reaktionen auf Lokalanästhetika und schweren Infektionen ab, selten lebensbedrohlich. Allerdings drohen bleibende Defekte.
