Treatment of extensor tendon injuries of the hand and finger

Ein Patient berichtet, dass er beim Brotschneiden mit dem Messer abgerutscht ist und sich dabei in den Daumen geschnitten hat. Anfangs blutete es stark. Der Tetanusimpfschutz ist laut Patient noch vorhanden. Es zeigt sich eine ca. 1 cm lange Schnittverletzung dorsalseitig auf der Grundphalanx des Daumens. Der Finger ist frei beweglich. Flexion und Extension sind gegen Widerstand möglich, jedoch schmerzhaft (Abb. 1).
