Ein 48-jähriger Mann stürzte bei häuslichen Arbeiten von der Leiter. Obwohl er Schmerzen im rechten Brustkorb verspürte, v. a. bei Bewegung und beim tiefen Einatmen, entschied er sich gegen eine ärztliche Vorstellung und nahm aus seiner Hausapotheke Ibuprofen. In den folgenden Tagen besserte sich zwar die Schmerzsymptomatik, jedoch verspürte er zunehmend Luftnot, sodass er doch seinen Hausarzt aufsuchte.
