So sucht man heute nach der Blutungsquelle

Rationale Diagnostik bei obskurer Gastrointestinalblutung

Man spricht von einer „obskuren“ Darmblutung, wenn zuvor mittels Ösophago-Gastro-Duodenoskopie und Koloskopie keine Blutungsquelle nachweisbar war. Als drittes Untersuchungsverfahren hat sich heute die Kapselendoskopie etabliert, die auf wenig invasive Weise der weiterführenden Diagnostik den Weg weist (Push&Pull-Enteroskopie bzw. Intraoperative Endoskopie). Bei massiver Dünndarmblutung ist die Angiografie weiterhin ein wertvolles Diagnostikum. Angesichts der neuen endoskopischen Optionen sind andere Verfahren (Magen-Darm-Passage, Enteroklyse nach Sellink, Erythrozytenszintigrafie) weitgehend verlassen worden.
