Keine Frage: Kinder und Jugendliche, die Leistungssport treiben, profitieren davon. Sie haben nicht nur ein verbessertes Selbstbewusstsein, eine höhere Fitness und körperliche Stärke, sondern erkranken auch seltener an Wohlstandskrankheiten. Auf der anderen Seite der Medaille stehen jedoch Risikofaktoren. Die vier Wichtigsten werden im nachfolgenden Beitrag diskutiert.
