Wenn die Histologie den endoskopischen Verdacht eines Barrett-Ösophagus nicht bestätigt, sollte der Patient endoskopisch nachverfolgt werden. Bei 30% der Patienten bestätigt sich der Verdacht innerhalb von zwei Jahren doch noch.
