Zunächst klagte der Patient über Schmerzen in Hand- und Kniegelenken. Im weiteren Verlauf kamen Bauchschmerzen mit Durchfall hinzu. Die schließlich endoskopisch gestellte Diagnose lieferte eine Erklärung für beide Symptomenkomplexe.
