Die molekulare Allergiediagnostik sucht gezielt nach einzelnen Allergenkomponenten. Der Vorteil: Das Sensibilisierungsprofil eines Patienten kann genau beurteilt werden. Das ist besonders bei komplexen Fällen hilfreich. Derzeit sind bereits mehr als 100 Allergenkomponenten kommerziell verfügbar, und die Bestimmung ist sogar mit Kapillarblut möglich.
