Patienten mit beginnenden Nierenschäden profitieren davon, wenn sie rechtzeitig dem Nephrologen vorgestellt werden. Doch welche Patienten sollte der Hausarzt zur nephrologischen Mitbetreuung überweisen? Die Deutsche Gesellschaft für Nephrologie hat jetzt in Anlehnung an internationale Empfehlungen einen „Praxisratgeber“ entwickelt. Er ist deutlich enger gefasst als das, was bisher im Bundesmantelvertrag steht.
