Katheterablation: Befreiung von der Antikoagulation?

Nach einer Katheterablation bei Vorhofflimmern ist das Schlaganfallrisiko wieder so niedrig wie bei Personen ohne Vorhofflimmern, zeigt eine neue Studie. Daraus zu folgern, dass nach interventioneller Eliminierung der Arrhythmie generell auf Antikoagulation verzichtet werden kann, wäre jedoch ein Fehlschluss.
