Zusammenfassung
Die Influenza ist eine Orthomyxovireninfektion und tritt seit hunderten von Jahren epidemisch und immer wieder pandemisch auf. Das klinische Spektrum reicht von asymptomatischen Infektionen über unkomplizierte obere Atemwegsinfektionen bis hin zu schweren Organkomplikationen.
