Eine 70-jährige Patientin leidet in den letzten Jahren an zunehmender Gangunsicherheit: „Ich habe Schwindel beim Gehen.“ Auch die Stolperneigung nimmt zu. Wegen Diabetes mellitus ist sie seit vier Jahren in regelmäßiger Behandlung und nimmt ein orales Antidiabetikum ein. Der HbA 1c -Wert liegt um die 6,3% und ist laut Hausarzt „so noch in Ordnung“ (Fall 1).
