Zusammenfassung

Wenn das Schlucken zum Problem wird, droht mehr als nur eine deutliche Einschränkung der Lebensqualität. Aspirationspneumonien, Gewichtsverlust und Mangelernährung sind ernstzunehmende Komplikationen. Daher ist Gefahr im Verzug, was ein sofortiges, meist interdisziplinäres Eingreifen erforderlich macht.
