Die Dupuytrensche Kontraktur tritt am ehesten bei älteren Männern auf und ist die wohl am häufigsten gesehene Fibromatose. Die Diagnose erfolgt klinisch anhand tastbarer Knoten auf der Handfläche und/oder Fingerkontrakturen. Bekannt, wenn auch nicht ideal ist die operative Therapie. Neuerdings gibt es aber zusätzliche Optionen.
