Wirklich eine Option bei Hypertonie?

In einer von der Karl und Veronica Carstens-Stiftung geförderten Studie an der Berliner Charité wird untersucht, ob regelmäßiges Blutspenden ein Therapieansatz bei Hypertonie sein könnte. Immerhin sei in einer Pilotstudie gezeigt worden, dass experimentelle Aderlässe den Blutdruck von Patienten mit metabolischem Syndrom um 16 mmHg senken konnten. Was ist von diesem neuen (alten) Ansatz zu halten?
