Pathologisches Kaufen — eine psychische Erkrankung?

Zusammenfassung

Pathologisches Kaufen findet noch immer in keinem Klassifikationssystem als eigenständige Erkrankung Berücksichtigung. Angesichts der langen Bekanntheit dieser Erkrankung, der hohen Prävalenz, der Befunde aus klinischen und experimentellen Studien und der rasanten Zunahme des Problems in Zusammenhang mit spezifischen Anreizen des Online-Marktes, ist dies nur schwer nachvollziehbar. Dieser Beitrag hat zum Ziel, das Störungsbild kurz und praxisnah darzustellen.
