Egal ob 33 ° C oder 36 ° C – der Aufwand bei der Hypothermie ist ähnlich hoch. Stets werden Sedativa gegen das Zittern benötigt, hilfreich sind auch eingepackte Hände und Füße. Ob die Kühlung auch bei Schlaganfall hilft, ist zumeist noch unklar.
