Diagnostik und Therapie der hypersexuellen Störung

Wenn unkontrollierbares sexuelles Verhalten negative Folgen hat

Zusammenfassung

Patienten mit einer hypersexuellen Störung präsentieren sich in der sexualmedizinischen und psychiatrischen Praxis mit quantitativ über der Norm befindlichem Sexualverhalten, das zu negativen sozialen und persönlichen Konsequenzen und persönlichem Leidensdruck bei den Betroffenen führt. Epidemiologische Schätzungen nehmen eine Prävalenz von 2% bis 6% in der Allgemeinbevölkerung an. Spezifische Sexualtherapie in ausgewählten Fällen unterstützt durch Psychopharmaka kann als Hilfe zum Einsatz kommen. Allerdings basieren aktuelle therapeutische Empfehlungen, aufgrund fehlender randomisierter, kontrollierter Studien noch auch auf einem niedrigen Evidenzgrad.
