Unsere Berichte vom diesjährigen Kongress der Deutschen Gesellschaft für Psychiatrie und Psychotherapie, Psychosomatik und Nervenheilkunde (DGPPN) im ICC Berlin machen deutlich, dass künftig nicht nur Bedarf an Arzneimittelforschung besteht, sondern auch die genetischen Grundlagen für Therapieerfolg oder -versagen, Metabolisierungsnebenwirkungen und Pathogenese verstärkt erforscht werden müssen.
