Läsionen der Oberschenkelmuskulatur zählen zu den häufigsten Sportverletzungen. Sie sind durch konservative Maßnahmen gut zu beherrschen und heilen meist ohne Residuen aus. Bei den seltenen Ausrissen der Sehne aus dem Ursprungsareal ist dagegen eine operative Refixation erforderlich.
