I thank Alfred Newton and Margaret Thayer for specimen loans (FMNH) and Doug Yanega (UCR) for calling attention to the odd Spilophora. Initial fieldwork at the CICRA Field Station in Peru was supported by the Amazon Conservation Association and at Tambopata, Peru by the PASI Workshop Chemistry in the Tropics. A grant from the U.S. National Science Foundation-EPSCoR #66928 supports ongoing fieldwork.
